Crest Studios first opened in April 2007 and has established itself as a leading rehearsal space in the region. It is located in the heart of Trowbridge and offers a warm, clean environment with plenty of parking. It is also within walking distance of the main-line Bath to Salisbury railway station.
At Crest there are three fully equipped rehearsal spaces with air conditioning, full PA, back line cabs and drum shells. Other equipment is available to hire for your session if required, making it easy for all standards of musician to turn up and be ready to play in no time at all.
The Green Room at Crest offers a larger, more comfortable ground floor space suitable for bands looking to spend a few days in rehearsal rather than an evening. Block rates are available on application.
pa specification
Identical systems are used in each room comprising of an 8 channel Mackie desk with onboard effects through QSC active speakers. There are three microphones, cables and stands provided. Others are available upon request.
drum kits
Drummers have the choice of kits between a Pearl Export and Pearl Forum. Drummers are expected to bring their own breakables, ie snare drum, cymbals, sticks and kick pedal although these can be hired per session.
back line cabs
There are a mix of Marshall 4x12 speaker cabs for guitarists and an Ashdown 4x10 and Peavey 4x10 available for bass players.
hire equipment
For musicians who like to travel light there are plenty of combo amplifiers available for hire per session. Just let me know your requirements when you place your booking and they will be ready waiting for you when you arrive.
